Red Ribbon Initiative - AIESEC UoM

Last Friday I had applied for the post of Organising Committee President (OCP) for the project on Red Ribbon Initiative by AIESEC University of Mauritius.

I went for interview Sunday morning at the Interns House (Beau Bassin) and there were 6 other people who had applied for the post.  In the afternoon, the OCP was selected and............. it was me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm responsible for coordination of the whole project, responsible for managing my team and also the 15 interns that we are bringing from abroad to Mauritius. They are supposed to do sensitization campaigns on HIV / AIDS in public areas, secondary and tertiary institutions.  It's a big challenge for me since I am already working for the World Food day on campus, doing my dissertaton and also I have tests and all.
BUT, this is what makes me different from others, because I'M AN AIESECer!!!

AIESEC is the best student organisation I've seen so far, am I'm proud to be part of it! :))

World Food Day

Today, we are celebrating the World Food Day.  In this context me and my friends have made a video on the theme "United against Hunger" so as to sensitize people about the problem of hunger in the world, what are its causes and how we can contribute to fight against hunger.
Please find the video below:

The video was launched at the opening ceremony of the National World Food Day celebrations at the SSR Botanic Garden, Pamplemousses.

STEP IN NAtional COnference, AIESEC MAURITIUS

I'm back home from the AIESEC STEP - IN National Conference which lasted for 3 days. These 3 days were simply awesome! I've learnt so many things from the different activities we were exposed to and also I got so many friends! :))

If I have to write, there's really so much and I'm too tired to elaborate. The only thing I want to say right now is: YES, I can make a change and my motivation level has increased more to achieve my goals! Proud to be an AIESECer, Long Live AIESEC! :))
